The vision, mission and goals of the department
Mission of the Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education To prepare scientifically qualified cadres capable of fulfilling their professional duties in the journey of development and nation-building through employment across various sectors of the state and its public and private institutions. Among the most prominent are: Vision of the Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education 1. Enhancing the quality of education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and keeping pace with modern developments to elevate the educational and instructional process. 2. Keeping up with technological advancements by adopting effective teaching methods supported by modern technologies and advanced teaching tools that serve the learning process. 3. Promoting scientific research among both faculty members and students while addressing contemporary issues in society. 1. To prepare university-level female educators specialized in Qur’anic sciences and Islamic education by instilling the principles of true Islamic teachings and deepening understanding of Sharia sciences. 2. To foster self-monitoring and spiritual commitment among graduates, preparing them to lead society with a moderate approach, away from extremism and fanaticism. 3. To qualify teachers capable of delivering all branches of Islamic sciences without being confined to a single school of thought, and to critically engage with other viewpoints. 4. To conduct periodic reviews of the curriculum to ensure alignment with technological advances and the implementation of modern, effective teaching methods and tools that support both educational and academic progress. 5. To engage with the community and promote volunteer work, reflecting the great message of Islam in spreading values of goodness and peace.
