Library Division The Library of the College of Education for Women is considered one of the essential units directly affiliated with the Dean. It represents an important intellectual space that provides scientific and cultural services to all the college’s students. The library works to supply educational books and resources that support academic courses, contributes to enriching research activities, and enhances students’ reading and learning skills, thereby strengthening their academic abilities and broadening their knowledge. Objectives The library aims to acquaint students and researchers with the latest scientific trends in their fields of specialization through: Providing a wide range of information resources, both print and electronic. Organizing and processing these resources technically and electronically to facilitate retrieval and usage. Supporting and developing the educational and research process in the college in line with contemporary requirements. Tasks The Library of the College of Education for Women undertakes several key tasks, including: 1. Providing essential books and resources for students and researchers. 2. Carrying out technical processing of resources (registration, classification, cataloging, and indexing). 3. Preparing organized lists of the library’s contents to facilitate borrowing services. 4. Assisting students and researchers in accessing information and resources with minimal time and effort. 5. Keeping pace with technological developments in the field of libraries and information. 6. Archiving books and publishing them on the college’s website. 7. Maintaining and updating both the printed and electronic library on a regular basis. 8. Preserving digital discs containing books, numbering them, and cataloging them to ensure easy access.
