Mission of the Department of Biology The department aims to prepare scientifically qualified personnel capable of fulfilling their professional duties in the journey of development and nation-building through employment across various sectors of the public and private sectors. Among the most prominent fields are: 1. To develop the level of education at both undergraduate and postgraduate stages and to keep pace with the latest advancements to enhance the educational and instructional process. 2. To academically and educationally prepare department members for work in various state institutions and to utilize their skills across multiple sectors. 3. To shift the role of the teacher from a mere transmitter of information to a planner and cultivator of creativity. 1. To graduate students from various biology branches who are capable of conducting practical research to protect animal and plant wealth and the natural environment. 2. To offer advanced academic programs in various basic sciences that can provide society with qualified specialists trained in modern scientific techniques, equipped to compete in the job market. 3. To enhance the role of specialized laboratories in the college to provide students with the necessary practical knowledge, conduct research and studies, and complete projects of scientific and practical value. 4.
