Scientific Lecture on Areas of Cooperation between the University of Anbar and Malaysian Universities
The Council of the College of Education for Women at the University of Anbar hosted a distinguished scientific lecture that addressed avenues of cooperation between the University of Anbar and Malaysian universities. The lecture was delivered by:
- Professor Dr. Firas Fadel Ali, Head of the Department of Chemistry, and
- Assistant Professor Dr. Qasim Mashaan Rahaybi, Head of the Department of Arabic Language.
The lecture highlighted the key outcomes of the University of Anbar delegation’s recent visit to Malaysia, led by Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, the University President.
This lecture was part of a broader presentation of the findings shared previously during the scientific and humanitarian workshop on the Malaysia mission, which was held at the College of Science and the College of Education for Humanities. The session reviewed the most important memoranda of understanding signed with prestigious Malaysian universities, and the promising academic and research opportunities they offer.
During the council meeting, discussions focused on maximizing the benefits of these partnerships, particularly in the following areas:
- Faculty and student exchange,
- Development of academic programs,
- Joint research collaboration, and
- Openness to international educational experiences.
The council agreed on outlining general directions and developing an action plan to implement these agreements in a way that aligns with the college’s academic goals and vision.
An initial operational plan was also discussed to ensure the college benefits from these agreements in alignment with the University of Anbar’s broader ambitions for international openness and academic excellence.
The attendees expressed their deep appreciation for the significant efforts of Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, President of the University, who led the delegation to Malaysia and contributed to signing memoranda of understanding that will enhance the University of Anbar’s standing on the global cooperation map.
This initiative comes as part of the University of Anbar’s vision to build strong bridges with leading global educational institutions in support of its academic mission and its pursuit of excellence and leadership in education and scientific research.
