Scientific Participation
The participation of Assistant Lecturer Raghad Basil Wasmi from the Department of History at the College of Education for Women in the activities of the Fourth International Scientific Conference on Humanities, organized by the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Kirkuk, under the theme:
“Higher Education and Contemporary Societal Issues”
The conference was held on 6–7 May 2026, with the participation of a distinguished group of researchers and academics from various Iraqi and Arab universities.
Her participation included a scientific paper entitled:
“The Early Establishment of British Sovereignty in Oman and the Arabian Gulf”
The study addressed important historical dimensions related to the stages of British influence in the Arabian Gulf region and its political implications during that period.
The conference featured scientific sessions and academic discussions aimed at promoting scientific research and exchanging expertise among researchers, contributing to the development of humanities studies and addressing contemporary issues.
This participation reflects the commitment of the academic staff at the College of Education for Women to active scientific engagement in reputable academic conferences, thereby enhancing the college’s scientific and research standing.
