The public defense of the Master’s thesis submitted by Marwa Obaid Saleh, a student in the Department of Biology / College of Education for Women / University of Anbar, was held for her thesis entitled:
“Evaluation of the Content of Active Compounds in the Vegetative Parts of Selected Species of the Solanaceae Family and Their Biological Effects”
The thesis aimed to study and quantify the active compounds present in the vegetative parts of selected species of the Solanaceae family and to analyze their biological effects, contributing to the utilization of plant potentials in research, agricultural, and biological applications. The research included precise laboratory analyses to measure chemical content and to correlate the findings with the biological activity of the studied plants.
