College of Education for Women Council Holds its 4th Open Session to Discuss Committee Updates and Academic Accreditation
The Council of the College of Education for Women at the University of Anbar held its fourth open session (Part V) for the academic year 2025/2026. The meeting was attended by all council members and took place in the college’s conference hall.
Key Highlights of the Session:
Scientific Committee Structure: The council reviewed the formation of scientific committees across all departments, ensuring their compliance and alignment with current regulations.
Membership Updates: The council voted on amendments regarding the chairmanship and membership of committees that have completed their legal terms. This step aims to ensure the legality of decisions and maintain a smooth administrative workflow.
Programmatic Accreditation: The council reviewed the procedures for applying for academic accreditation via the currently open electronic portal. Departments were urged to audit their files, and specialized committees were prompted to finalize all submission requirements.
Departmental Readiness: The departments of Biology and Chemistry confirmed their full readiness to commence the academic program accreditation application process.
Ramadan Initiatives: The Dean announced an organized group Iftar banquet for female students residing in the university dormitories, scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2026, as a gesture of support and participation during the Holy Month.
Closing Recommendations: The council discussed the remaining items on the agenda and issued appropriate decisions in accordance with its authorities and existing regulations.
