
An educational lecture
Within the curriculum of the Psychological Counselling and Educational Guidance Unit of our college and in cooperation with the Psychological Counselling Division of the Presidency of the University and Community Police, the tagged educational lecture was held on Tuesday (e-blackmail motivations and methods) The purpose of the lecture is to familiarize itself with the methods of electronic blackmail and the motivations and methods used by blackmailers, especially girls and women, in particular adolescent girls, by luring them or hacking their accounts and seizing their images, extorting them in exchange for paying money or engaging in immoral crimes through social media websites. Lecturers presented very many examples of such crimes, most importantly the seminar's important tips to avoid becoming a victim of cyber-extortion crimes and to increase the safety of Internet users and reduce the chances of becoming a victim of cybercrime, as well as details of protecting accounts and websites from hacking and increasing security.
