Higher Degrees
The public discussion of the Master's student Nisreen Yaseen Khudair Fadhel Al-Issawi was held in the Department of History at the College of Education for Women, University of Anbar, for her thesis titled:
"The Interaction of Arab Muslims with the Local Population in Al-Andalus from the Islamic Conquest to the Fall of the Umayyad Caliphate (92 AH - 422 AH)."

The study aimed to highlight the values and principles of Islam brought by the Muslim conquerors and to examine those values derived from Islamic Sharia, which emphasize tolerance towards the native inhabitants of the land, even if they differed in religion and culture.
