Scientific workshop
As part of its annual cultural program, the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Education for Women held a scientific workshop titled:
"Practical Methods to Address the Causes of Divorce Before It Occurs – In Light of the Quran and Sunnah."
The workshop was delivered by:
Prof. Dr. Sadiq Khalaf Ayoub
Prof. Dr. Saadoun Jumaa Hamadi
The workshop discussed various causes of divorce, which were summarized into three main categories:
Personal Causes, including psychological and emotional factors.
External Causes, related to the environment of the spouses.
Systematic and Deliberate Motives orchestrated by enemies of Islam aiming to disrupt Islamic societies by fragmenting social cohesion and weakening family bonds.
The workshop was attended by a number of professors and students from the department and college.
