The public defense of the master's student Zainab Madani Habib Mohammed was held in the Department of History / College of Education for Women / University of Anbar for her thesis titled:
"Defensive Fortifications of the Cities of Transoxiana from the Islamic Conquest to the End of the Khwarazmian Emirate (86 AH - 628 AH)."
The Discussion Committee consisted of:

Prof. Dr. Liqaa Ghazi Abdul Kareem – Member
Asst. Prof. Dr. Siham Jameel Jasim – Member
Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Abdul Hakim Rajab – Member and Supervisor
After a thorough discussion by the committee members regarding the thesis topic, the thesis was accepted with a "Pass" grade
