The Department of Biology and the Department of Geography organized a seminar to discuss the research presented by Dr.
Hanan Fawzi Salman, a faculty member in the Department of Biology, and Dr. Widad Hamad Makhlaf, a faculty member in the
Department of Geography, as part of the requirements for promotion from Lecturer to Assistant Professor.
The seminar was held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Saad Abdulwahid Mahmoud, a member of the university’s Central Promotions Committee, and Prof. Dr. Khalil Mohammed Saeed, Chairman of the College Promotions Committee, along with a distinguished group of faculty members from both departments. The session featured in-depth scientific discussions on the presented research, with active engagement from attendees, contributing to enriching the dialogue and providing specialized insights.
