Scientific Participation
Asst. Prof. Nidal Ibrahim Latif, Head of the Department of Biology at our college, participated as a member of the scientific committee for the Ph.D. dissertation defense of the student Abdullah Dhahir Abdullah at the College of Education for Pure Sciences – University of Tikrit. His dissertation was entitled:
"The physiological, histological, and immunological effects of different doses of nicotine and nitrosamine on male white rats and their offspring."
The defense was conducted in a rigorous academic atmosphere, during which the dissertation’s key points were discussed thoroughly and objectively. The student presented a detailed overview of his findings, which constitute a significant scientific contribution in the field of chemical impacts on physiological, immunological, and histological systems.
It is worth noting that Prof. Nidal Ibrahim Latif enriched the discussion with her precise scientific observations, which helped strengthen the research aspects of the dissertation. At the conclusion of the session, the student was awarded the Ph.D. degree with a "Satisfactory" grade.
