
Training workshop
As part of its ongoing academic activities, the Department of Geography at the College of Education for Women organized a training workshop entitled "The Role of Sustainable Development in Environmental Conservation," with the participation of a distinguished group of faculty members from the department.
The workshop was delivered by:

The workshop addressed the importance of sustainable development as one of the modern foundations for preserving the environment and ensuring the sustainability of its resources for future generations. The speakers discussed key concepts of sustainable development, its relationship with ecological systems, and the impact of human activities on environmental balance.
The workshop highlighted the role of individuals and institutions in implementing sustainability principles through optimal resource use, pollution reduction, and promoting clean and renewable energy.
It concluded with the emphasis on the need to enhance environmental awareness and to strengthen cooperation among governmental, educational, and community institutions in order to achieve balanced development that protects the environment and serves humanity.
The workshop was attended by a number of students from the department and the college.
