Scientific Participation
As part of the scientific cooperation and exchange of expertise between the colleges of the University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Younis Hindi Alawi, Head of the Department of Geography, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hamid Hussein Farhan, faculty member in the Department of Geography at our college, participated as members of the examination committee for the Ph.D. dissertation submitted by the student Yazan Yaseen Jabbar in the Department of Geography / College of Education for Humanities / University of Anbar, entitled:
"Sustainable Urban Development of the Cities of Al-Muhammadi and Al-Nukhayb as a Model for Small Cities in Al-Anbar Province"
The dissertation addressed ways to achieve sustainable urban development in the province’s small cities, focusing on planning, economic, environmental, and social aspects. After an in-depth scientific discussion, the committee decided to accept the dissertation and award the student a grade of Very Good (High).
