The public defense of the Master’s student Dalal Tallek Ali Abtan Al-Asafi was held in the Department of Biology / College of Education for Women / University of Anbar for her thesis entitled:
“A Clinical Genetic Study to Evaluate the Role of C677T Polymorphism of the Methylenetetrahydrofolate Reductase (MTHFR) Enzyme and Oxidative Changes in Iraqi Patients with Beta-Thalassemia Major.”

After an in-depth discussion of the thesis by the committee members, the thesis was accepted with a grade of “Satisfactory.”
