Scientific Participation
As part of the commitment of the academic staff at the College of Education for Women to keeping pace with scientific developments and strengthening academic cooperation, Professor Dr. Yousif Sami Farhan, a faculty member in the Department of History, participated in the activities of the Sixth International Scientific Conference, hosted by the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Sulaimani in the Kurdistan Region, on Sunday and Monday, 14–15 June 2026.
Professor Dr. Yousif Sami Farhan contributed with his research entitled: "The Role of Kurdish Scholars in Enriching Scientific and Religious Life in Baghdad: Sheikh Amjad Al-Zahawi as a Model." The study highlighted the prominent intellectual and scholarly contributions of Kurdish scholars to the advancement of scientific and religious life in Baghdad, taking the life and achievements of the eminent scholar Sheikh Amjad Al-Zahawi as a vivid example of this distinguished legacy.
This active participation reflects the presence of the College of Education for Women in international scientific forums and contributes to strengthening its academic standing, while also highlighting the role of its faculty members in enriching scholarly production and promoting scientific and intellectual exchange.
